"We can't back out now!" Onimusha: Way of the Sword developer laughs off concerns around 2026's packed September release window
Capcom producer Akihito Kadowaki is unfazed by the crowded September 2026 release window for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, stating the team "can't back out now." Despite the proximity to Grand Theft Auto 6 and numerous other titles, Kadowaki believes Onimusha's unique combat, setting, and characters will help it stand out. The game is set to launch on September 25, 2026.
