Windrose can put excessive strain on storage drives and write more than 100 GB of data per hour
The pirate-themed RPG survival game Windrose is reportedly causing excessive strain on storage drives, writing over 100 GB of data per hour due to an inefficient save system. Developer Kraken Express has released a patch to optimize disk usage, significantly reducing write speeds. Players are advised to update the game to version 0.10.0.4.268.
