Xbox seeks to clarify its approach to console exclusive games, after last night's PS5 snub for Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution caught many off guard
Xbox is clarifying its console exclusivity strategy following the reveal of Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution as Xbox console exclusives. While these titles will not be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox's Chief Content Officer Matt Booty stated that big multiplayer and live service games will continue to be multiplatform. The company aims to provide reasons to own an Xbox while also rewarding existing fans, with platform decisions to be made on a case-by-case basis.
