Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold, the next expansion set to launch in January 2027, during their Fan Festival in Anaheim. The expansion will introduce new jobs, increase the level cap to 110, and feature an Evangelion crossover alliance raid. Additionally, the Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial will be expanded to include the Shadowbringers expansion on April 28, and the game is confirmed for a Nintendo Switch 2 port in August.
