A survey of Gamescom Dev speakers indicates that artificial intelligence is expected to be the most significant industry trend for the next three years, with 83% anticipating an impact on team structure or productivity. While 36% believe AI will change roles rather than reduce team sizes, 33% expect smaller teams. Economic uncertainty, market saturation, and discoverability were identified as major challenges.
