1047 Games has officially ceased development on its PvP arena shooter Empulse and its predecessor, Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, due to insufficient revenue to cover operating costs. While the studio will continue to exist with a changed focus, both games will transition to peer-to-peer support on September 3rd. The original Splitgate debuted in 2019 and saw significant popularity.
