Akuma Rise is a return to KEMCO's familiar retro JRPG formula, featuring turn-based combat, random encounters, and a story about a demon named Kaine with amnesia. While the presentation and gameplay are standard for the developer, the game offers a comfortable but unexciting experience that doesn't introduce new elements.
