Anthem Review | Giant Bomb
BioWare's loot shooter Anthem excels in its flight mechanics and character customization, but suffers from numerous issues including imprecise gunplay, a weak story, and a rigid structure. The game is plagued by frequent load screens, a grindy progression system, and significant bugs, some of which caused consoles to crash. While the core flight and combat can be fun, especially with friends, Anthem requires substantial work to reach the quality of other redeemed loot games.
