Atari and Universal to create movies based on classic properties including Asteroids and Missile Command
Atari has partnered with Universal Pictures and Entertainment 360 to adapt 10 of its classic video game franchises into movies. Properties including Asteroids, Missile Command, and Pong will be reimagined as action-adventure blockbusters. Atari CEO Wade Rosen expressed excitement about bringing the brand's spirit to a new medium.
