Aniplex announced Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina, a new 2D fighting game set to release in early 2027 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. This updated version of Melty Blood: Type Lumina will feature refined mechanics, new characters, and a story by Kinoko Nasu.
