Capcom details the reason for Resident Evil Veronica’s new name, will be third-person
Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi explained that the remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica has been retitled Resident Evil Veronica to align with modern naming conventions. The game, set for a 2027 release on Nintendo Switch 2 and other platforms, will feature a third-person perspective despite trailer footage showing first-person gameplay.
