The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past – What You Need to Know

CD Projekt Red has announced "Songs of the Past," a new expansion for the eleven-year-old game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The expansion is slated for a 2027 release and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, requiring SSDs and DirectX 12. Developed in collaboration with Fool's Theory, it promises a new story and region, with CD Projekt Red's Michał Nowakowski comparing its scope to the "Hearts of Stone" expansion. Geralt will be the playable protagonist, and the expansion may explore his past and potentially set up future stories for Ciri.
