The Witcher 3 expansion Songs of the Past was once intended to launch this year, CD Projekt Red reveals, so the rumours were correct
CD Projekt Red has officially announced that The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past expansion has been delayed to 2027 to ensure the best possible result for consumers. Originally planned for this year, the expansion is being co-developed by Fool's Theory and is described as a prologue of sorts to The Witcher 4. The company also confirmed plans to release three new Witcher games within six years, with The Witcher 4 being the first.
