The Witcher 3 Remastered is the perfect excuse to get back on the Path, even if it looks a bit too colorful
The Witcher 3 Remastered offers a free upgrade for owners of the base game, enhancing visuals and combat with a more colorful and vibrant aesthetic. While the improved lighting and more fluid combat are praised, the increased saturation detracts from the original's gritty atmosphere, making some elements appear too cartoonish. Despite these visual criticisms, the remaster significantly improves gameplay mechanics and is considered a worthwhile experience, especially as a prelude to the upcoming 'Songs of the Past'.
