Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 director says Kingdom Hearts 2 is "one of the best action RPGs ever created," and there's "something about that gameplay" he's been chasing "ever since"
Guillaume Broche, creative director of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has named Kingdom Hearts 2 as one of his top five games of all time and one of the best action RPGs ever created. He stated that he has been chasing the gameplay mechanics found in Kingdom Hearts 2 since its release, noting that while Kingdom Hearts 3 was not bad, it did not recapture the same exceptional gameplay feel.
