Remedy Entertainment's creative director Mikael Kasurinen revealed that the upcoming Control Resonant is intended to be a full action RPG, a departure from the original Control's action-adventure genre. The sequel will feature extensive buildcrafting, skill trees, and distinct character classes. Control Resonant is slated for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
