Latest Nintendo Direct Reportedly The Most-Watched Of The Summer Showcases
Nintendo's latest Direct presentation, which featured announcements for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, reportedly achieved the highest viewership among summer showcases. Analytics firm LevelUp claims the Direct peaked at 3.8 million viewers, slightly surpassing Summer Game Fest's Opening Night Showcase. The trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was also cited as the most-viewed game trailer from any showcase.
