Legendary Nintendo designer Takaya Imamura expressed gratitude after Fox McCloud's appearance was revealed in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie poster. Imamura, who created the Star Fox character, had previously hoped for a Star Fox movie and discussed this with Shigeru Miyamoto. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is set to release on April 1.
