Resident Evil director Shinji Mikami has a new studio, Unbound, who are making original games for PC and console
Resident Evil director Shinji Mikami has founded a new studio named Unbound, which began operations in May 2023. The studio, comprising around 50 staff including former Tango Gameworks producer Masato Kimura, aims to create original "AA" games with aspirations for AAA quality for PC and consoles. Mikami previously left Tango Gameworks in 2023, shortly before Microsoft announced plans to close the studio.
