The Mandalorian and Grogu director used Apple Vision Pro to preview the film in IMAX
Director Jon Favreau utilized an Apple Vision Pro app to preview the IMAX scope of his upcoming film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, during production. This allowed him to experience the film in its full aspect ratio, similar to being in an IMAX theater. Favreau also expressed more excitement for integrating existing consumer technology like the Apple Vision Pro and Unreal Engine into filmmaking than for AI.
