Square Enix announced Final Fantasy 14: Evercold, a new expansion set to begin 'The Godless Realms Saga' in January 2027. The announcement, made at FFXIV Fan Fest, also teased a Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover raid and confirmed a Nintendo Switch 2 port for August. The expansion follows the 2024 release of Dawntrail and will introduce new jobs and UI enhancements.
