Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest reveals masses of new details including a new Job, Collector’s Edition, and Switch 2 release
During Final Fantasy Fan Festival Berlin 2026, Square Enix revealed new details for the upcoming expansion, Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold. The expansion will introduce a new Main Tank Job called Bastion, new areas like the sky-based realmship Naglfar, and a new feature allowing players more freedom in choosing their main scenario route with Auto Content Balancing. Additionally, Final Fantasy XIV will launch on Nintendo Switch on August 4, 2026, with a free one-month subscription period, and a Collector's Edition featuring both physical and digital in-game items was also announced.
