Gears of War film director insists "that movie will happen"
Director David Leitch has confirmed that the Gears of War movie adaptation is actively in development with Netflix and The Coalition. A script is in progress, and both the studio and the game developer are committed to making the film a reality. The next Gears of War game, Gears of War: E-Day, is also expected to release later this year.
