Amplitude Studios has announced Humankind 2, the sequel to their historical strategy game Humankind, set for release in 2027. The game will feature new progression systems, enhanced visuals, a modernized UI, and gameplay improvements, including a focus on climate change that transforms the strategic map across different eras. Humankind 2 will also involve a community feedback process through their Amplifiers program, similar to the first game's Early Access approach.
