Recent reports suggesting a delay for the PlayStation 6 and next-generation Xbox, codenamed Project Helix, may be inaccurate. Insiders indicate that both consoles are still on track for a late 2027 release, with Microsoft confirming dev kits for Project Helix will be available in 2027. Sony had previously stated the PS6 would arrive "a few years" after 2025.
