Capcom’s PS5 Remake of PS2 Action Game Will Include Story Changes
Capcom has confirmed that the upcoming PlayStation 5 remake of Resident Evil Veronica will include story changes to improve continuity within the larger Resident Evil universe. Series producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi stated that these adjustments are being made to better connect the game to titles like Resident Evil 7, 8, and 9. The original Code Veronica, released over 25 years ago on the Dreamcast, is a mainline entry but has been considered somewhat of an outlier in the series' narrative.
