ArenaNet has officially announced Guild Wars 3, a modern evolution of the MMORPG genre, during Summer Game Fest. The game is set over a thousand years before the original Guild Wars and will feature deep character customization and skill-building gameplay. A beta is scheduled to open in the fall of 2027, with sign-ups available now.
