Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will introduce the FITS (Function Integrated Tactical Suitware) system, inspired by classic Final Fantasy jobs. This mechanic allows characters like Cloud to equip new suits that grant unique skills, enabling players to customize their playstyle, such as turning Cloud into a Black Mage. Director Naoki Hamaguchi stated the system aims to evolve the combat while retaining player enjoyment.
