Larian publishing chief aims to 'absolutely demolish' Steam with the studio's next release
Larian Studios' publishing director Michael Douse expressed ambitious goals for the upcoming RPG Divinity, aiming for its release to significantly impact Steam's performance, similar to how Baldur's Gate 3 did. Douse hopes the new title will surpass Baldur's Gate 3 in scope and consequence, featuring deeper player choices and more complex NPC interactions. While an early access release is planned, a specific launch window for Divinity has not yet been announced.
