Shuhei Yoshida Reveals He Was "Fired" From His Head Role of PlayStation First Party Studios By Jim
Former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida revealed that he was removed from his role as president of Worldwide Studios by Jim Ryan in 2019. Yoshida stated he was "fired" because he did not agree with some of Ryan's requests. Following this, Yoshida transitioned to lead PlayStation's indie games initiative before departing Sony in late 2024 to manage his own consulting firm.
