Todd Howard has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 is running on a new version of Bethesda's Creation Engine, referred to as Creation Engine 3. He also stated that the game will return to Bethesda's "classic style" of open-world exploration, differentiating it from recent titles like Fallout 76 and Starfield.
