Subnautica 2's first update will introduce quality-of-life improvements including a sprint mechanic, intended to help players navigate their large bases more quickly. Future updates will add proximity chat, emotes, player revives, and eventually larger expansions with new biomes and creatures. The game recently launched into Steam Early Access.
