Bluepoint pitched a Bloodborne remake, but FromSoftware turned it down, not Sony

Bluepoint Games pitched a remake of Bloodborne to FromSoftware, but the project was ultimately turned down by FromSoftware, not Sony. Despite Sony's acquisition of Bluepoint and their success with the Demon's Souls remake, FromSoftware decided against pursuing a Bloodborne remake, with director Hidetaka Miyazaki reportedly hesitant to let others touch his work.
