PlayStation legend Shuhei Yoshida says Jim Ryan fired him because he didn't listen to him
Former PlayStation Worldwide Studios head Shuhei Yoshida stated that Jim Ryan fired him from his role in 2019 because he did not follow Ryan's directives. Yoshida, who oversaw titles like Ghost of Tsushima, was moved to a role focusing on indie games before eventually leaving PlayStation in 2025 to run his own consulting firm.
